Yard Clean Up for our Elderly Neighbors

We wrapped up an awesome week of camp with a yard cleanup for one of our elderly neighbors. Our campers worked so hard raking, sweeping, and picking up sticks that they filled 17 bags of yard waste!! Amazing!! They were rewarded with lemonade and cookies from a very appreciative homeowner who loved having the kids around for the morning. We also potted flowers and left them on neighborhood doorsteps as an act of kindness. We lucked out with great weather and were able to brighten our neighbors’ yards with a generous flower donation from Volante Farms in Needham. Thank you so much! And finally, we celebrated an awesome week of service with a well-deserved trip to Cabot’s Ice Cream. Amazing job this week Service Stars!!!
