Charles River Clean-Up

Today Service Stars teamed with the Charles River Watershed Association to help clean up our local waterway. The older campers took to canoes to clean up 1200 lbs of invasive water chestnuts from the river. If that wasn’t enough they hid treasures in the sand pile at the Cove for local kids to discover! Meanwhile the younger kids were just down river doing a river trash pick up and testing the water to see how healthy our river is. Both groups held bake sales to raise money for the Charles River Watershed Association earning almost $200!!!
