Green Newton Recycling Drive and Clean Energy Project

  Our younger campers have set up their recycling drive and are waiting for their boxes to fill up! We learned about items that are difficult to recycle and why they can’t go into our green bins.  We decorated boxes and flyers and can’t wait to count how many of each item we collect!  Each camper also made a video to help promote our drive!  Meanwhile, our older campers learned about renewable energy from our friends at Green Newton.  Then they set to work making a mural that will be hung up at City Hall to promote Newton’s Clean Energy initiative.  It was a great day of bonding and making new friends!  We can’t wait to spend the week with these awesome kids!!
