Supporting Families in the NICU

Our second day of vacation camp was really very special! We supported the NICU - a cause very personal to many of our Service Star families. We had four moms come and share their stories with the help of their kids. We even had 5-month old Sophia, a recent NICU grad, join us for the morning! The kids loved playing with her, singing to her, and talking to her mom about all of her favorite things 🙂 Then kids got to look through premie clothes, hats, and toys to get a sense of how tiny these babies are. To support the cause, the kids decorated picture frames, put together snack packs for the parents, decorated onsies, bagged milestone cards, and sewed hearts for moms to wear so their scent can comfort their babies. The kids worked SO hard and were so dedicated to making sure all 63 babies at Brigham and Women’s Hospital would benefit from our work. Awesome job Service Stars!!!
