Spreading Holiday Cheer

This holiday season, Service Stars gathered to spread Christmas joy. We made Christmas cards for children who will be spending Christmas at Newton Wellesley Hospital, wrapped Christmas presents and made cookies for the families at Mary’s House - a family shelter in Waltham. We also brought in our friends from Hipstitch to help us sew tree ornaments and cloth napkins to donate to Welcome Home. We owe an enormous thanks to Hipstitch who generously donated their time and materials for this wonderful cause. And finally, due to the generosity of our community, Service Stars was able to donate 3 fully decorated artificial trees and 40 holiday gifts to family shelters in the area. The kids had a blast sewing, wrapping, and baking.  Happy Holidays from Service Stars!
